Copywriters

We encourage anyone who wishes to practice as a copywriter to try to do so, but the Association exists to acredit those who work professionally as freelance copywriters, having previously acquired a sound professional training in an advertising, dm or similar company recognised by an acknowledged professional body.

We provide copywriters meeting our membership criteria with recognition of their training, experience and commercial stability. This helps these copywriters distinguish themselves in the eyes of potential clients from others lacking similar experience or stability.

If you are a full time freelance copywriter, have traded for a minimum of 3 years, and had previously worked for at least 7 years in a recognised advertising agency, dm company or similar, you are invited to apply for membership of the Association.
